• Use a basic Microsoft SQL 2000 or MySQL database to add interactivity and allow your prospects and customers to submit information online (eg. to subscribe to newsletters, enter competitions, or place an order, request a quote or further information etc).

Profession Level

The Professional plan provides medium to large business web sites with a high performance web hosting solution that will support robust, flexible SQL 2000/2005 databases. It is the entry level hosting plan in our shared hosting range that will support web sites that have been developed using Macromedia ColdFusion.

Our Professional level of Cold Fusion hosting is ideally suited to sophisticated, content-rich web sites that typically:

• Let customers and prospects conduct pre-sales searches on your entire product range
• Collect customer data and distribute business information in a coordinated manner
• Generate significant levels of traffic each month
• Require support for ColdFusion, a powerful scripting language used to create interactive web sites
• Require an IP address to support your own SSL Certificate
• Need to be able to collect orders and related credit card details securely, and batch process these through your own business merchant facilities.
